Omega Academy supports university students across South Africa and internationally. We work with SAICA board exam candidates, students enrolled in distance learning at SAICA-accredited universities in South Africa, business school candidates, and high school learners. Our services are designed for learners at different academic stages who require structured, high-quality academic support.  

 At tertiary and professional level, Omega Academy offers tutoring in Managerial Accounting and Finance, Financial Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation. We support BCom General students, BAccSci students (CA-stream students), SAICA board exam candidates, and business school candidates.  

Yes. We currently offer English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Business Studies, Economics, Accounting, Geography, and History.  

All class pricing and programme fees can be found on our dedicated pricing page. This ensures students and parents have full transparency and easy access to the most up-to-date information. 

Most Omega Academy classes are conducted virtually. Students are required to have a stable internet connection and a charged, functional device in order to participate fully. Active participation is expected in all classes. 
 

Some group classes may be run in a hybrid format. The decision to offer hybrid classes depends on the number of sign-ups and learner demand. Where a significant number of students request in-person attendance, Omega Academy may accommodate this. Omega Academy reserves the right to determine whether a class is virtual or hybrid, and all hybrid classes are subject to terms and conditions.  

All classes must be paid for before they take place. Omega Academy does not offer classes on credit and we do  not accept cash payments. All payments are processed through the Omega App.  

Yes. Omega Academy has a rewards system for learners. Discounts are earned through referrals and through consistent attendance. Learners qualify for a discount after attending five classes or through referrals and earned rewards can be applied to future lessons.  

Omega Academy partners with selected bursary schemes and sponsors. Students may check with Omega Academy or their sponsor to confirm whether their funding covers our classes. Students funded by bursaries that are not Omega Academy partners may still join our classes if their bursary allows payment for extra lessons.  

If a non-partner bursary or sponsor requires a formal quote, students can request one directly through the Omega App. The quote can then be submitted to the relevant bursary or sponsor for approval.  

All sign-ups, payments, rewards, and quote requests are managed through the Omega App.  

All Omega Academy tutors are university graduates across every class offering. Tutors who teach varsity-level and business school classes are either training towards becoming Chartered Accountants CA(SA) or are already qualified CA(SA)s. All tutors go through a rigorous vetting process before joining Omega Academy. They are highly competent, passionate about education, and deeply committed to helping students understand their work and succeed academically.  

Yes. In addition to academic tutoring, Omega Academy offers a mentorship programme designed to support students beyond the classroom. We also run Omega Unplugged, which focuses on social activities and experiences outside the academic environment, allowing students to connect, grow, and build community. In addition, we offer workplace readiness programmes aimed at preparing students for professional environments by developing practical skills, confidence, and career awareness. Students can sign up on the Omega App 

Yes. Omega Academy has an in-house psychologist who supports students with their mental wellbeing. Services are offered at discounted rates for our learners, ensuring that students have access to professional guidance and support alongside their academic development.  

Yes. Omega Academy runs an NPO dedicated to students from underprivileged backgrounds who require extra care and support. Based on our assessment, eligible students can be enrolled in the Adopt an Accountant programme, which provides additional academic guidance and resources. Students who meet the programme requirements may also apply to join directly.
